Soft Taco Pizzas

Serve the taco filling on pita breads or flat breads for a Mexican-style pizza.

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey (10 % fat)
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup FRANK'S RedHot® Cayenne Pepper Sauce or FRANK'S RedHot® Chile 'n Lime™ Hot Sauce
  • 2 teaspoon ground chili powder
  • 6 (6 inch) pita breads or flat breads
  • 2 cups FRENCH'S® Potato Sticks
  • 2 cups reduced fat shredded Cheddar cheese

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 HEAT oven to 350°F. Cook beef in skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until browned, stirring to separate meat; drain.
  • 2 STIR in salsa, Frank's RedHot Sauce and chili powder. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook 5 minutes, stirring often.
  • 3 TO SERVE, spoon meat mixture on pita breads, dividing evenly. Top each with 1/3 cup potato sticks and 1/3 cup cheese. Heat in oven 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
