chopped sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil
grated lemon peel
FRENCH'S® Original French Fried Onions
Toss chicken pieces in flour to coat. Place chicken in slow cooker. Add tomato sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, wine and lemon peel. Cover. Cook on HIGH heat setting for 2 hours (or on LOW heat setting for 4 hours).
Stir in mushrooms and 1 cup French Fried Onions. Cover. Cook on HIGH heat setting for 1 hour (or LOW heat setting for 2 hours) until chicken is cooked.
Transfer chicken to heated platter. Stir sauce and serve over chicken. Top with remaining 1 cup onions.
