4 cups frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lb. ground beef
1 cup Water
1 (3/4 ounce) package brown gravy mix
1 (10 oz.) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and drained
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/3 cups FRENCH'S® Crispy Fried Onions or Crispy Fried Onions White Cheddar
HEAT oven to 400°F. Combine potatoes and oil in 2-quart baking dish. Firmly press potato mixture evenly across bottom and up sides of dish to form a shell. Bake, uncovered, 15 minutes.
BROWN ground beef in large skillet; drain. Stir in water and gravy mix; bring to a boil. Add mixed vegetables; reduce heat to medium and cook, uncovered, 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup cheese and 2/3 cup Crispy Fried Onions. Spoon into hot potato shell.
REDUCE oven temperature to 350°F. Bake, uncovered, 15 minutes or until heated through. Top with remaining cheese and onions. Bake, uncovered, 5 minutes until onions are golden.
