ONIONY MUSHROOM SOUP
2 cans (10 3/4 oz. each) CAMPBELL'S® Golden Mushroom Soup
2 cups SWANSON'S® Beef Broth
1 1/3 cups FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup dry sherry wine or additional water
4 thick slices French bread
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
COMBINE mushroom soup, beef broth, 1 cup French Fried Onions, water and sherry in medium saucepan. Heat to a boil. Simmer about 5 min. to blend flavors.
HEAT broiler. Place bread on a baking sheet. Mix oil and garlic; brush on bread slices. Broil until toasted.
LADLE soup into 4 broiler-safe bowls. Top each with 1 slice bread. Sprinkle bread evenly with cheese and 1/3 cup onions. Set bowls on baking sheet. Place under broiler about 1 min. until cheese is melted and onions are golden.
