LIGHT-STYLE CRUNCHY ONION CHICKEN

Ingredients:

1 1/3 cups (2.8 oz.) FRENCH'S® Original or Cheddar French Fried Onions

2 tbsp. flour

4 (5 oz.) boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 egg whites, beaten

Directions:

CRUSH French Fried Onions with flour in plastic bag. Transfer to pie plate or waxed paper.

DIP chicken into egg whites; then coat with onion crumbs.

BAKE 20 min. at 400°F until no longer pink in center.

Variations: Add 1/2 tsp. each thyme leaves and garlic powder to onion mixture.

" My Husband and I love this chicken. I combine the new Cheddar onions with the regular. I also use Egg Beaters for coating to reduce fat. I have served this to guests. I use corn as side. Also low fat cottage cheese/pineapple. Makes for a wonderful dinner. "
