1/2 lb. bulk Italian sausage
1 large red bell pepper, cut into strips
1 cup pizza or spaghetti sauce
1 (14 oz.) pre-baked pizza crust shell
1 1/3 cups (2.8 oz.) Oignons frits à la française FRENCH’S®
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Heat oven to 400°F. Cook sausage in nonstick skillet over medium heat until browned, stirring frequently; drain. Add pepper and cook 3 min. Stir in pizza sauce.
Spread sausage mixture on pizza crust. Sprinkle with French Fried Onions and cheese. Place pizza on baking sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 min. until cheese melts and crust is golden and crispy. Cut into wedges to serve.
Tip: Substitute link sausage, thinly sliced, or ground beef. Tip: Pizza can be grilled. Place directly on grill grates, close cover and grill 8 to 10 mins. until cheese melts and crust is golden and crispy.
