CRISPY MEXICAN CHICKEN
Ingredients:
3 cups (6 oz.) FRENCH'S® Cheddar or Original French Fried Onions, divided
4 tsp. chili powder
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup taco blend shredded cheese
Directions:
PLACE 2 cups French Fried Onions and chili powder in plastic bag. Lightly crush onions with hands or with rolling pin. Transfer to pie plate or waxed paper.
Dip chicken into egg; then firmly coat with seasoned onion crumbs. Place chicken on baking sheet.
BAKE chicken at 400°F for 20 min. or until no longer pink in center. Sprinkle with cheese and remaining onions. Let stand 2 min. until cheese softens.
