1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
2 cups (4 oz.) FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
1 (16 ounce) package frozen vegetables for stew (potatoes, carrots, celery and pearl onions)
4 cups beef broth
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. FRENCH'S® Reduced Sodium Worcestershire Sauce
Brown beef in hot oil in large saucepot over medium heat, stirring often. Transfer meat to bowl.
Cook mushrooms and 1 cup French Fried Onions in drippings in same pot over medium heat until golden.
Stir in vegetables, broth, tomato sauce and Worcestershire. Return meat to pot. Heat to boiling. Simmer, covered, 20 min. until vegetables are tender. Serve soup with remaining onions.
