Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 pound sliced mushrooms
- 2 cups (4 oz.) French's® Original Crispy Fried Onions
- 1 (16 oz.) package frozen vegetables for stew (potatoes, carrots, celery and pearl onions)
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon French's® Reduced Sodium Worcestershire Sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 BROWN beef in hot oil in large saucepot over medium heat, stirring often. Transfer meat to bowl.
- 2 COOK mushrooms and 1 cup Crispy Fried Onions in drippings in same pot over medium heat until golden.
- 3 STIR in vegetables, broth, tomato sauce and Worcestershire. Return meat to pot. Heat to boiling. Simmer, covered, 20 min. until vegetables are tender. Serve soup with remaining onions.
