This is a fun and super delicious pizza to enjoy on game day! It combines the delicious crunch of French's Cheddar French Fried Onions with a flavorful sauce and gooey cheese. It is named after the infamous, hardy fans of the the Green Bay Packers, but can be enjoyed by anyone!
Ingredients:
1 cup FRENCH'S® Cheddar French Fried Onions
1 12-inch pre-baked pizza crust
1 lb ground beef
1 cup tomato sauce
1/3 cup barbeque sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup cubed cheddar cheese
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425.
Place the pizza crust on a pizza pan or pizza stone. Season the beef with the salt and pepper. Cook and crumble the ground beef in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until the beef is cooked through. Drain.
Combine the tomato sauce and barbeque sauce in a small bowl. Spread evenly on the pizza crust to ½ inch from the edge. Top with the cooked beef, followed by the mozzarella cheese, French’s onions and cubed cheddar.
Bake the pizza for 12 minutes. Remove the pizza from the pan and place directly on oven rack for 3 additional minutes. Let stand one minute before serving. Yields 8 slices.
