A great way to use leftover turkey after Thanksgiving. The garbanzo beans and cumin add an interesting flavor with a definite "kick" from the jalapenos! The sour cream tones the spiciness a bit.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
2 cup Cooked turkey, shredded
1/2 lb Chorizo Mexican Sausage, casings removed
7 cup 2 cans (28 oz) diced tomatoes with chilis
31 oz 2 cans (15.5) garbanzo beans with liquid
8 oz 1 large onion, chopped
4 oz 2 jalapeno peppers, minced including seeds
2 tbsp Ground cumin
1 tbsp pepper
Directions:
In large pot brown sausage, casings removed. Drain. Add all other ingredients, stir well and bring to a boil. Remove from heat for 5 minutes. Cover and simmmer over low heat for 40 minutes. Top each bowl with shredded cheddar cheese, a dollop of sour cream and snipped fresh chives if desired.
