SWEET & SPICY CARIBBEAN CHICKEN SLIDERS

These sweet and spicy sliders always bring a smile to the faces of my friends and family! They seem to satisfy everyone's cravings. They're perfect as an appetizers for a special event and simple enough for a weeknight dinner. They're so versatile that it's hard to resist not making them every night!

PREP TIME 20 min

Ingredients:

2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Honey Mustard

1.5 lb ground chicken

1 cup mango chutney, divided

1 tbsp fresh jalapeno; seeds & ribs removed, minced

2 tsp Caribbean seasoning

6 pt slices Pepperjack Cheese, cut into quarters

12 pt small dinner rolls, split & lightly toasted

1.25 cup FRENCH’S FRENCH FRIED ONIONS

Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, gently mix together ground chicken, 1/4 cup mango chutney, honey mustard, jalapeno, and Caribbean seasoning until just combined. Form into 12 small patties to fit rolls. Preheat nonstick pan* over medium-high heat. Cook burgers about 2-3 minutes per side or until desired doneness. During last minute of cooking, top each patty with 2 quartered slices of cheese. Meanwhile, spread remaining mango chutney on cut sides of rolls. To assemble sliders, top each roll bottom with burger patty, then top with fried onions, then top with roll tops. Secure sliders with toothpicks if desired. Makes 12 sliders (serves 6) *Burgers may also be cooked on indoor grill pan or indoor or outdoor grill.
(Recipe should read 6 slices of cheese and 12 rolls; your entry form does not have an option to not include a unit of measure)
