Everybody says.."hmm...these remind me of something my grandma made...." We all know our grandma's made the best food....and this is a takeoff on my Grandma's ham loaf...with a little extra help from French's for zip ! Eat these and SMILE as you think of your own grandma or Auntie !
Ingredients:
1/2 cup FRENCH'S® Honey Mustard
2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® Mustard
1 lb ground smoked ham
1.5 lb ground pork
2 cup dry bread crumbs
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In large bowl, mix ground ham, ground pork, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, eggs and French's Honey mustard. Mix thoroughly and shape into 2 inch balls. Place in a 9 x 13 baking pan that has been sprayed with non-stick spray. In a medium microwave-safe glass bowl, mix brown sugar, French's classic yellow musstard, vinegar and water. Place in microwave and cook about 3 minutes, until mixture comes to a slight boil. Remove and pour mixture over ham balls. Bake in 425 degree oven for 45-50 minutes, until nicely browned.
These are great served with a little French's Horseradish Mustard mixed with a little sour cream or salad dressing....but they are great just plain and can be kept warm in a chafing dish or small crockpot.
They also make great meatball mini subs ....and OK, I admit, they are great cold ( if you have any leftovers!)
