Steak Dijon Salad

The tender steak and fresh green combine with the tangy dressing to create an entire delicious meal. Everyones loves this!

Ingredients:

1 tbsp FRENCH'S® Dijon Mustard

2 tbsp champagne vinegar (or dry white wine)

2 tsp minced shallot

1/3 cup olive oil

2 2-5 oz pkg Spring Mix Lettuces, with herbs

1 cup white mushrooms, sliced (or Cremini)

1 diced avocado

2 8 0z T-Bone steaks

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:

To Mkae Dressing - In a small bowl, combine vinegar, mustard, shallot, salt and pepper. Slowly whisk in olive oil and blend well. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl or salad bowl combine lettuces, mushrooms and avocado. Grill steaks on medium high 4 to 5 minutes each side or to desired doneness. Remove and rest 5 minutes then slice thinly. toss salad with dressing (whisk to remix). Plate salad and top with even portions of sliced steak.
