My Southwest Hashbrown Casserole is so good that my family fights over who gets the last scoop.
Ingredients:
1 FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
1 lb Ground Beef
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Southwestern Style Simply Potatoes Hashbrowns
1 Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 cup Sour Cream
2 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook ground beef and salt in skillet until browned; drain well. In a 13x9 glass dish, add ground beef, hashbrowns, soup, sour cream, and cheddar cheese. Stir until well combined and spread evenly in the dish. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove dish from oven, top casserole with French's French Fried Onions, and bake for 5 minutes longer.
This dish can also be made as a lighter version by using lite or fat free sour cream, cheese, and soup - and it tastes exactly the same! This casserole is also delicious when using French's Cheddar French Fried Onions.
