Mustard-based BBQ sauce is a nice change from traditional BBQ sauce and helps add a new element to old favorites. My husband is Southern so every time I make this, he really feels at home.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® Mustard
1/2 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup white vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp hot sauce, as desired
1/4 cup water
Directions:
Whisk all ingredients together in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat and allow to thicken to desired consistency.
Perfect on greens, corn, potatoes and proteins.
