Smoky Chuck-wagon  Mac & Cheese Crunch

The taste is out of this world, and the whimsical pasta shape, makes even the pickiest eater give it a try.

2 cup FRENCH'S® Cheddar French Fried Onions

8 oz Wagon wheel shaped pasta

1/4 cup Butter

1 tbsp +1/2 tbsp.Flour

10 oz Milk

8 oz Smoky Cheddar Cheese, shredded

15 oz Can Ranch Style Beans

4 Hot Dogs, sliced into thin rounds


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 2 ½ quart casserole dish with cooking spray, set aside. In a large pot, bring 3 quarts salted water to a rolling boil. Add pasta, then return water to a rapid boil, stirring pasta frequently. Cook 12 minutes. While pasta boils, melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth paste forms. Whisk in milk, stirring constantly over medium heat until boiling and sauce has thickened. Remove from heat, add shredded cheese and stir until cheese has melted. Drain pasta, but do not rinse. Return pasta to large pot, stir in cheese sauce until pasta is well coated. Stir in beans and sliced hot dogs. Pour into casserole dish and top with French's Cheddar French Fried Onions. Bake for 25 minutes. Serve hot.
For a kid-pleasing palate, use cheddar cheese and brown sugar beans.
