My family loves the sauce on noodles, and everyone is happy when we have "Saucy Porkchop" night. It makes me smile because it is easy to put together and can cook while we are doing homework etc.
Ingredients:
3 oz FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
3 lb 6 pork chops
2 tsp flour
10.5 oz Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp crushed rosemary
1/2 cup sour cream
3/4 cup water
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine flour, salt & pepper, coat porkchops in flour mixture. Brown porkchops in a warm skillet that has been sprayed with cooking oil, about 3 minutes on each side. Place porkchops in a single layer in a glass baking dish.
Combine soup, water, ginger & rosemary in a small bowl; pour over porkchops. Sprinkle 1/2 of French's Fried Onion Rings on top of soup mix.
Cover & bake for 40 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with remaining onion rings, and bake an additinal 10 minutes.
Remove chops from baking dish. Blend sour cream into soup mixture and serve with porkchops. Serve with parslied rice or noodles.
