This recipe gives salmon just enough of a kick that it appeals to many different palates without being too spicy. I have converted some people who have said that they don’t like fish with this recipe! Try it tonight for your family and enjoy an easy to make, heart-healthy dinner!
Ingredients:
2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Spicy Brown Mustard
1.5 lb fresh salmon fillets
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp dill weed
1/4 cup lime juice
2 tbsp Italian seasoned bread crumbs
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit. Spray a 9x13 glass baking dish with cooking spray.
Place the salmon fillets, scale side down, in the prepared baking dish.
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, French’s Spicy Brown Mustard, garlic, paprika, and dill weed, then set aside.
Sprinkle the salmon fillets with lime juice. Spread on the olive oil mixture evenly on each fillet. Then evenly sprinkle the bread crumbs on top of each fillet.
Bake at 350° Fahrenheit for 25 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flaky in the center.
Fresh salmon is best for this recipe, however fresh lake trout can be substituted if salmon is unavailable. Easy side dishes to complement this recipe are baked sweet potatoes and fresh sautéed green beans.
