Ingredients:

2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Dijon Mustard

6 tbsp white wine

3 oz raisins

3 oz bacon diced

3.5 oz unsalted butter

3 oz sugar

1 tbsp flour

8 oz sliced bread

1 cup water

1/3 tsp salt

1/3 tsp pepper

Directions:

Soak the raisins in the white wine and 1 cup of water for at least 10 minutes. Sauté in a pan the butter and sugar till it’s melted but not caramelized, about 4-5 minutes. Slowly pour half of the wine and water mixture, then the flour stirring constantly till it becomes dense. Add the bacon and mustard with the raisins, sprinkle a little bit of pepper and salt and remove from the fire. Slice the Italian bread and in a non stick pan put the slices of bread and bake them at 300 for two minutes then turning them and bake for another a minute. Then put them aside on a plate spread the mixture you previously made on the bread and serve.
