Rail Splitter Burger

Everyone just loves the taste of this burger, keep asking for more, and it brings a smile to the cook too because it is easy to make.

PREP TIME 30 min

Ingredients:

2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Horseradish Mustard

1/4 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

Directions:

Peel and finely shred cucumber. Set aside. Clean the seeds from the red pepper, finely chop the red pepper and onion. Put the shredded cucumber, chopped pepper and onion, mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, pepper, and dill into a bowl and mix well. Set aside and keep cold. Put the ground chicken, ground turkey, bread crumbs, yogurt, and horseradish mustard into a large bowl and mix well. Divide the mixture and shape into six equally sized burger patties. Brush the top of a pre-heated barbecue grill or a gas grill on medium heat with olive oil. Place the patties on the grill top and grill until thoroughly cooked, about 30 minutes, turning them over every 5 minutes. While the patties are cooking on the grill, cut the hamburger buns in half and spread out 6 halves on a clean table top. Remove the grilled patties from the grill top and place one patty on a bun half. Top each patty with equal amounts of the cucumber, pepper and onion, mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, pepper and dill mixture. Cover each burger with the remaining half of the bun.
I created this recipe to honor our home town President, Abraham Lincoln.
