They remind me of when I was growing up. My Mom used to make meatballs and put them in tomato sauce, but used to put some aside for me and my brothers to sample on forks.

Ingredients:

4 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

1/2 tsp pepper

1/4 tsp salt

1 can brown gravy

2 eggs beaten

3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

3 cloves garlic

1/4 cup 1/4 cup Italian bread crumbs

1/2 cup romano cheese

1 lb chop meat

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix together beef, cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, and 1 egg beaten and form into meatballs. Fry in 2 tbsp. olive oil until golden brown then remove from frying pan. Roll in remaining beaten egg and then coat with french's fried onions. Brush remaining oil in shallow baking pan and bake for 5 minutes on 400 degrees. Then take out and pour gravy over. Return to oven for an additional 5 minutes. Serve with your favorite vegetables.
