Party Potatoes

It's a family and friends favorite! At my parent's surprise anniversary party, we tricked my parents into believing they were instead attending a friend's surprise birthday party. We even went so far as to ask they bring a dish, and everyone convinced Mom to make her famous party potatoes. When they showed up at the party, they believed they were running late and were going to ruin the surprise (having no idea they were the ones in for a surprise), so Mom left the party potatoes in the car. I thought there was going to be a riot when guests believed she forgot them!
