This recipe has been a family favorite in our home for over 18 years. A baked potato, a garden salad and a vegetable completes the meal nicely. In the rare instance there are leftovers, we make sandwiches.
Ingredients:
1 tsp FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® Mustard
1 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp ketchup
1 lb ground beef
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
Thorougly combine all but French's French Fried Onions and Mozzarella cheese. Place half the mixture in a small loaf pan or 1 quart Pyrex Dish. Flatten by hand. Sprinkle French's French Fried Onions (crushed) over meat. Place second half of mixture on top of the crushed onions. Bake at 350 degress for 45 minutes, then sprinkle shredded Mozzarella cheese on top and bake another 10 minutes until nicely browned.
