North meets South! Great northern beans and black-eye peas. This is a spicey chili con carne with a twist. When garnished with sour cream it soothes the spice a bit!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
1 lb Ground Beef
28 oz 1 large can chopped tomatoes
8 oz 1 large onion, chopped
8 oz 1 large sweet green pepper, coarsely chopped
15.5 oz 1 can great northern beans with liquid
15.5 oz 1 can black eye peas with liquid
4 oz 2 fresh jalapenos, finely minced
2 cup water
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp pepper
Directions:
Brown ground beef and drain well. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover, lower heat and simmer for 40 minutes. Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream and freshly snipped chives if desired.
Leftovers freeze well.
