My Husband wants me to make it every night of the week. His friends love it too!
Ingredients:
3 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
8 oz Cream of Mushroom Soup
1.125 oz Any meatloaf seasoning mix
1 lb 7% Lean Hamburger
1/2 cup water
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place 1 lb. lean hamburger in large bowl, add meatloaf seasoning mix and 1/2 cup water. Combine hamburger and meatloaf mix together.
3. Add just over 2 1/2 cups of French's Fried Onions to meatloaf mix and stir well.
4. Add 1/2 can of Cream of Mushroom soup to meatlaof mix and stir well. If mix looks to mushy, add more fried onions.
5. Place in rectangular baking pan and sprinkle fried onions on top of meatloaf.
6. Bake for 40-50 mins. or until fried onions look crisp, check regularly to avoiding burning. When done, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
7. Let cool a little bit before eating.
8. ENJOY!!!!
I use generic meatloaf mix, it calls for 1/2 cup water to be added to the mix. No need to add an additional 1/2 cup water.
