This recipe has a very unique flavor to it. I have served it at dinner parties and it is always a huge hit.I can never go wrong with this recipe!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® Mustard
1/4 cup FRENCH'S® Worcestershire Sauce Products
1/2 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
14 oz Italian salad dressing
3 tbsp Soy sauce
3 tsp pepper
Directions:
Get 4 steaks, I prefer strip or rib-eye steaks, you can use any cut you desire.Mix all ingredients ,except for the french fried onions,into a zip-lock bag. Close bag and mix up ingredients good. Open the bag and put the steaks into the bag.Put the bag of maranade and steaks in the refrigerator to marinate for 30 minutes.
After you start the steaks maranating, start your brown rice cooking,and your veggies.(My family loves the mixed veggies)You can choose your family's favorite.
About 10 minutes before the steaks are ready to take out of the ice box, heat your gas grill to hot.
When the 30 minutes of maranating are up, take your steaks ,in the bag, to your gas grill.Take your steaks out of the bag ,put them onto the grill to seare on one side for 4 minutes,then turn your grill down to medium,and flip steaks to the other side and cook for 4 to 8 minutes.(It is 4 to 8 minutes due to how well you want your steaks cooked)When you turn your steaks ,add some of the mustard maranade onto the steaks for that extra flavor.
When cooked to your liking,take the steaks off the grill onto a plate or cookie sheet and place in your oven,covered with aluminum foil, until you finish the rice and veggies.When you dish up the plates, add some of the french fried onions on top of your rice and veggies.
This dish is absolutely yummy,your family will love it!
In this dish ,you can use pork chops,or chicken to grill for the meats.You would have to maranate the chicken for 45 minutes to get the flavors into it better.
Also the side dishes can be potatoes or what ever your family likes.
When we have a salad ,we add french fried onions mixed in.I usually cut the meat up,after it cools, and place it on top of the salad.
