Both pizza and pot pie always bring smiles. When you combine the two you are sure to double the fun. Add the zesty flavor of French's yellow mustard and chopped vegetables, and you are sure to please not only kids, but adults too.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® Mustard
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, chopped
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed into bit sized chunks
1 lb broccoli, chopped
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup corn flour (divided)
1 lb refrigerated pizza dough
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Sauté onion until translucent. Add chicken and brown on both sides (about 5 minutes) add broccoli and stir.
In a small bowl, combine broth, mustard and 4 tablespoons of corn flour. Add broth mixture to chicken and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 5 minutes).
Pour chicken mixture into a pie shell.
Flour surface and rolling pin with remaining corn flour. Roll out the pizza dough to 1 inch larger in diameter than pie shell. Set dough over the filled pie shell and press the edges. Cut 4 small slits in the top to let steam escape.
Bake until the pizza crust is golden, about 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Substitute you favorite vegetable for broccoli.
