Mushroom Steakhouse Burger

The sharp, zesty flavor of the French's Worcestershire and the French's Spicy Brown Mustard melds with the sweetness of the honey-onion mixture to make a delightful sandwhich that tastes more like a steak. Both children and adults ask for a repeat performance of this recipe. ...fortunately, the the cook won't mind. This is fast and easy!

Ingredients:

4 tbsp FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce

4 tsp FRENCH'S® Spicy Brown Mustard

2.8 oz FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

1 lb Hamburger, divided into 4 patties

4 Onion Buns (Pepperidge Farm preferred)

1 tbsp Margarine or Butter

1 tbsp Honey

8 oz Mushrooms

Directions:

1. Divide hamburger into four patties. Wrap in foil and bake at 400 for 20 minutes (or until cooked to your preference). While hamburgers are cooking: 2. Empty 2.8 oz can of onions into a bowl. Drizzle 1/4 oz of honey on the onions. Toss lightly. Repeat process till all honey is added and the onions are lightly coated. 3. Prepare mushrooms: wash, slice. 4. Melt margarine and then add French's Worcestershire, French's Spicy Brown Mustard, and mushrooms. Saute mixture until mushrooms are cooked, and sauce is reduced. 5. Assemble burgers as follows: bottom of bun, hamburger, 1/4 mushroom mixture on each burger, 1/4 onion mixture on each burger. Top of the bun should be put on the side (because it looks nice that way).
Most of the prep time coincides with the cooking time, so this is done in 25-30 min.
