Mushroom, bacon & onion canapes

Ingredients:

1.4 oz FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

1 tbsp FRENCH'S® Dijon Mustard

10 oz 1 pkg. (10 ounces) Puff Pastry Shells

4 cup Assorted mushrooms (portobello, shiitake, oyster or cremini), cut into quarters

3 tbsp Olive oil

1/4 cup Mayonnaise

1/4 cup Cooked & crumbled bacon

1/4 cup Freshly grated Parmesan

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:

Prepare the pastry shells according to the package directions. Heat the oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms. Cook until the mushrooms are tender, stirring often. Season with salt and pepper. Mix mayo, mustard and bacon. Add mushroom mixture. Stir in onions and Parmesan. Spoon the mushroom mixture into the pastry shells. Broil until topping is bubbly. Serve immediately
Adjust amount of mayo to your liking. May add thyme to mushrooms. Garnish with parsley.
