This recipe my mom made for me and was my favorite when I was a child, now it is my childrens favorite they get so excited when they hear it is meatloaf night.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® Mustard
3 tbsp ketchup
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup small onion finely chopped
1/4 cup small carrot shredded
1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
1 oz large egg
15 oz tomato sauce or beef gravy
Directions:
Place ground beef in a large mixing bowl. In a seperate bowl stir together mustard, ketchup, onion and carrot.Add salt, pepper and egg to beef. Add mustard mixture and mix lightly, add bread crumbs mix again. Form meatloaf into the center of a baking dish add tomato sauce(our favorite) or gravy. Bake for 50 min at 350 degrees.when done slice and eat.
It is a family favorite. I also use this recipe for cocktail meatballs at partys. I bake the meatballs first then put them in a crock pot with beef gravy and let people eat them with toothpicks. yummy
