Mexican Shells

This was my husbands favorite meal his mother made for him, and now we continue the tradition in our own family!

Ingredients:

2.8 oz FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

12 Pasta Stuffing Shells

1 lb ground beef

12 oz Picante Sauce

2 cup tomato sauce

1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack Cheese

1 cup green chilis

1/2 cup water

Directions:

Brown meat, drain. Combine picante, water and tomato sauce; stir 12 cup into meat along with the chilies, 12 cup of cheese and 12 can of Onions. Mix well. Pour half of remaining sauce mixture on bottom of 10 inch round or 8 x 12 baking dish. Stuff cooked shells with meat mixture. Arrange shells in baking dish; pour remaining sauce over shells. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and onions, bake uncovered 5 minutes longer. Serve with salsa and sour cream!
