Tastes so much better that "boxed" mac n cheese and is so easy to vary the receipe
Ingredients:
3 tbsp FRENCH'S® Horseradish Mustard
2 lb elbow macaronni
1 lb Medium cheddar (longhorn)cheese
4 cup tomato sauce
1/2 cup milk
1 pt Spam
2 tbsp butter
Directions:
boil elbow macaronni until tender, drain; mix in 1 can sliced and diced Spam. in large glass cassarole dish coat bottom of dish with butter or margerine. slice longhorn cheese into 1/8th" thick slices. Pour 1 level of macaronni w/spam into dish, cover with layer of cheese and cover with mixture of tomato sauce that was mixed with milk & mustard. Repeat with 2nd level of Macaronni w/Spam, cheese and sauce. Bake for approximately 20 minutes at 375 degrees or until cheese on top has melted. Remove and let cool for 3-5 minutes before serving. Serves 6 to 8 folks.
make sure to mix the tomato sauce with the milk and mustard before covering both levels and be sure to cover the cheese well.
