Le Creme de Crab Cakes

My grandchildren love them because they can choose their own sauces and they don't taste fishy.

Ingredients:

1 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

1 tbsp FRENCH'S® Honey Mustard

2 lb 2lbs lumb crab meat/cooked, shelled, & cleaned

1/4 cup i/4 onion diced

1/4 cup 1 small light celery stalk with leaves, diced

1/2 cup 1/2 cup miracle whip

6 tbsp 6 tbsp vegetable 0r canola

Directions:

divide and crush french's onions, set aside saute onion and celery in 1 tbsb oil 3 to 4 min put cleaned crab meat in mixing bowl, add onions and celery, 1/4 cup of french's onions, french's honey mustard, miracle whip and salt and pepper. combine all ingredients well. Roll into eight even size balls and flatten. place remaining oil in pan and heat on medium. press crab cakes into remaining french's onion on both sides and saute 3 minutes on each side. drain on paer towels and serve warm with choice of sauces.
These are great for weekends and company appetizers. grown ups and children both love the crab cakes
