Kickin’ Chicken Southwestern BBQ Pizza

This recipe brings an abundance of smiles all around when I tell the family we are having Kickin' Chicken Southwestern BBQ Pizza! The first smile is mine as I know the recipe is quick and easy to prepare. The second smiles are from my family when the smell the aroma wafting from the kitchen and the third set of smiles are seen all around the dining room table, just before taking that first luscious bite!

Ingredients:

2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® Mustard

1/2 cup FRENCH'S® Cheddar French Fried Onions

1/2 cup prepared honey barbecue sauce

1 12' gourmet style premade pizza crust

2 cup shredded Monterey Jack/Cheddar blend cheese, divided

8 oz grilled chicken breast, sliced (grill your own or purchase already cooked)

1/2 large orange bell pepper, thinly sliced

1/2 cup fresh cilantro, roughly chopped, loosely packed

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine honey barbecue sauce with French’s Classic Yellow Mustard and set aside. Place pizza crust on the back side of a baking sheet and top with mustard barbecue sauce mixture, spreading to within ½ inch of the edge. Sprinkle 1 ½ cups grated cheese over sauce to cover. Place grilled chicken on top of cheese and top with pepper slices. Sprinkle on remaining cheese. Slide pizza directly on to middle oven rack and cook for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted. Slide pizza back on to baking sheet and sprinkle on French’s Original French Fried Onions and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper to taste, slice and enjoy
If your family likes to heat things up, replace the cheese blend with shredded pepper jack cheese to kick thing up even further!
