Hot and Spicy French's Double Double Deluxe Cheesy Sliders

Everyone loves a great cheeseburger and sliders are very popular right now, but there are not many double decker cheesy sliders. My husband likes these so much we ate them two nights in a row :)

Ingredients:

2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce

2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Horseradish Mustard

2/3 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

1.5 lb lean ground beef

6 tbsp 2 Tbsp really cold butter to be grated into meat mixture plus 4 Tbsp. melted butter for rolls

4 oz shredded cheddar cheese

4 oz shredded Pepper Jack Cheese

6 potato bread dinner rolls, cut in half horizontally

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:

Ingredients 1 1/2 pound lean ground beef 2 Tbsp really cold butter to be grated into meat mixture plus 4 Tbsp. melted butter for rolls 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper 1 teaspoon kosher salt or fresh ground sea salt 2 Tbsp. FRENCH'S Worcestershire Sauce 2 Tbsp. FRENCH'S Horseradish Mustard, plus more for spreading on buns 4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese 4 oz. shredded Pepper Jack Cheese 2/3 cup FRENCH'S French Fried Onions 6 potato bread dinner rolls, cut in half horizontally Directions Preheat oven to 200 degrees. 1. To make the patties, mix the beef, butter, salt, pepper, French’s Worcestershire Sauce and French’s Horseradish Mustard in a large bowl, handling the meat as little as possible to avoid compacting it, mix well. Quickly shape the beef mixture into 12 equally-sized (about 2 oz each) patties to fit the size of the potato bread dinner rolls. 2. Place a 12” cast iron skillet (or non-stick if you don’t have cast iron) over medium/medium-high heat (depending on your stovetop). Once pan is hot place 6 burger patties in the skillet, cook on one side for 2 minute, pressing down on the burger slightly with a spatula to ensure they are not too round and puffy. Then flip to the other side, at this time top each burger with a good pinch of the cheddar and pepper Jack cheeses; cook for another 1-2 minutes. Remove burgers to an oven safe dish and place in pre-heated oven. Wipe out skillet and repeat with remaining 6 burgers. 3. Meanwhile, brush the melted butter on the cut side of the top and bottom of the rolls. Turn the heat of the oven to broil (removing the burgers at this time) and position the rolls, cut side/buttered side up and broil 1-2 minutes to toast lightly. Remove from oven. 4. To assemble the burgers, smear some French’s Horseradish Mustard on cut sides of roll, place 2 of the burger patties on the bottom of the roll, top with some French’s French Fried Onions and add the roll tops and serve with fries or potato chips.
The manner in which you require the ingredients to be listed made it is a little difficult to list my ingredients so I listed them in the instructions as well in case it is at all confusing. Also I use kosher or sea salt in lieu of table salt as well as freshly ground pepper in lieu of pre-ground pepper. I think that makes a big difference in my recipes, thank you!
