Long summer evenings keep the family outdoors longer and closer to our barbeque grill. A decision to grill a pizza has now become our latest craze for dinner! This ham and cheese pizza, with it's velvety mustard sauce, is a favorite on our patio table. The kids love to join in on the preperation of our dinner creation!
Ingredients:
4 tbsp FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® Mustard
1 Pizza Dough (fresh)
2 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp Flour
1 cup Milk
1 cup Diced Ham
1 cup Shredded Swiss Cheese
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Directions:
1. Preheat grill on medium/high heat.
2. Roll pizza dough out to a 12 inch circle.
3. Pour 1 tablespoon oil onto a folded paper towel and grease grates of grill.
4. Place pizza dough on grill and cook for approximately 8 minutes, until underside is golden brown. Use a fork to puncture any heat bubbles on dough that may form.
5. Remove pizza dough from grill and flip over onto a clean surface, so that the grilled side is face up.
6. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and stir in flour till smooth. Gradually whisk in milk until mixture thickens and boils. Remove from heat and stir in Frenchs Classic Mustard. Salt and pepper.
7. Evenly spread mustard sauce over pizza. Top with swiss cheese and ham.
8. Use remaining olive to regrease the grates. Return pizza to grill, lowering temperature to low/medium heat. Cover and grill until bottom browns and toppings are melted, approximatley 12 minutes.
9. Remove from heat, slice and serve.
