FRENCH'S RAVIOLI WITH A TANGY CREAM SAUCE

French's French Fried Onions take the place of chopped onions (no crying!) and breadcrumbs in this super quick and easy ravioli recipe. Kids can help out by crushing the fried onions in a plastic bag or assembling the raviolis, rolling the filling into little balls with their hands or laying out the wrappers. The more kids are involved in the preparation of dinner, the more likely they are to eat it. Enjoy cooking with your family. (Maybe they'll help you clean too.)

Ingredients:

1/2 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Spicy Brown Mustard

25 Won Ton Wrappers

1/2 lb Ground Turkey, Chicken or Beef

1 tsp Poultry Seasoning

1 cup Reduced Sodium Chicken Broth

1 cup Heavy Cream

1/4 cup Chives

12 cup water

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

Directions:

1) Place 12 c of water in large pot on high heat. 2) While waiting for the water to come to a boil, mix 1/2 lb ground turkey, 1/2 c CRUSHED French's French Fried Onions (should measure 1/2 c AFTER being crushed), 1 t poultry seasoning, 1/2 t salt and 1/4 t pepper in a mixing bowl. 3) Lay a few wonton wrappers on your work surface and brush edges with water using a pastry brush or your finger. 4) Place 1 round teaspoon of the poultry filling in the center of each wrapper and fold over on the diagonal. Press around the mound of filling with your fingers to expel any air and to seal the edges. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling. 5) To make the sauce, whisk 1 c reduced sodium chicken broth, 1 c heavy cream and 2 T French's Spicy Brown Mustard in a sauce pan. Simmer over med/low, whisking occasionally, until reduced by half. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add 1/4 c chopped chives right before serving. 6) Cook raviolis in boiling water for about 5 minutes (they should float to the top). Drain and place on serving platter with sauce. Serve immediately.
