French's Mustard Babybacks

Most people cant believe the way mustard brings out the flavor in ribs. Also, most people dont cook ribs on gas but its much easier and faster.

SERVINGS 4
COOK TIME 30 min
PREP TIME 10 min

Ingredients:

1 cup FRENCH'S® Classic Yellow® Mustard

3 lb baby back ribs

6 tsp Tony's Creole Seasoning

2 cup Barbeque Sauce

1/2 cup unsalted butter real

5 tsp Barbeque dry rub

Directions:

Rub 2 slabs of baby back ribs with French yellow mustard on the meat side, brush on liberally. Apply Tony's or any Creole seasoning with salt across the mustard. Remember these products tend to be very salty. Put on gas grill with bone side down at about 400 F. Cook for about 15 minutes bone side down then flip to sear in the mustard. Do not allow to burn. Cook there for about 3-5 minutes then apply a mixture of the barbeque sauce and melted butter to the meat side of the ribs very liberally. Turn again to meat side down for 2 minutes. Flip back to meat side up and apply dry rub. Turn off grill and leave ribs with lid closed for about 2 more minutes.
This works much better if the barbeque sauce/butter mixture is still warm when you use it. Do not remove the membrane (filmy) surface from the bone side of the ribs. Select ribs with a fair amount of marbleing for flavor.
