Paninis are one of my family’s favorite sandwiches. These are a notch above the rest – the French’s French Fried Onions add fabulous flavor and crunch.
Ingredients:
1 tsp FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Dijon Mustard
1 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
1/4 cup unsalted butter
4 6-inch baguettes, split
4 slices American cheese
4 (2 oz.) slices deli-style smoked turkey breast
4 slices Swiss cheese
Directions:
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Stir Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and butter together in a small bowl. Brush cut sides of baguette halves with mixture. Place cut sides down in skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Place cut sides up on work surface. Divide and layer remaining ingredients onto baguette bottoms. Add baguette tops, cut side down. Heat a Panini maker according to manufacturer’s directions. Cook 2 sandwiches at a time for 4-6 minutes until brown grill marks appear. Garnish if desired. Serves 4.
These may also be made in a skillet if a Panini maker is unavailable.
