French's Fish Fry

My three children refuse to eat fish, but they actually ASK for this! I love it because it is so easy.

Ingredients:

2 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

2 lb Tilapia Filets

1 Egg

3 tbsp Canola Oil

Directions:

Heat 3 Tbs canola oil over Med-High heat in large frying pan. Meanwhile lightly season tilapia filets with salt and pepper. Prepare egg wash in a shallow bowl by lightly beating egg and 1 Tbs. water together. Finely chop French's Fried Onions and place in another shallow dish. Dip each filet in egg wash followed by French's Fried Onions then place in frying pan. Fry each filet until they are nicely browned and cooked all the way through (about 2-3 minutes per side). Remove from pan and enjoy!
it is easiest to use one hand to dip in the egg wash and the other to dip in the French's Fried Onions. You can add more oil as needed because the fish will tend to soak it up at first.
