Your whole family (including picky eaters) will love this tangy, crispy & cheesy recipe for chicken!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup FRENCH'S® Honey Dijon Mustard
2 cup FRENCH'S® Cheddar French Fried Onions
4 chicken breasts
2 oz Smoked Provolone cheese
2 oz Canadian bacon
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs
4 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Directions:
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast
4 slices Smoked Provolone cheese
4 thin Canadian Bacon slices
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs beaten
1/2 cup French’s Honey Dijon Mustard
2 cups crushed French’s Cheddar French Fried Onions
4 tablespoons butter
Pound chicken breast to ¼-inch thickness. Sprinkle each piece on both sides with salt, pepper and spread French’s Classic Mustard on each piece of chicken. Place 1 cheese slice and 1 bacon slice on each breast. Roll up each piece of chicken breast using toothpicks to secure. Dredge each in flour, shake off excess, then in egg mixture (mix eggs with 1/4 cup French’s Honey Dijon Mustard) and finally in crushed French’s Cheddar French Fried Onions. Place seam side down in baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam. Drizzle each piece of chicken with melted butter. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes until juices run clear.
Can be prepared, frozen & baked later. Leftovers are great too.
Serve with mashed potatoes.
