Franks in Homemade Spicy Mustard Blanket

Fun appetizers that are easy to make but looks gourmet!!!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup FRENCH'S® Spicy Brown Mustard

9/8 cup all-purpose flour, divided

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup white granulated sugar

3/4 cup buttermilk

1/4 cup mayonnaise

4.8 oz beef franks

1/4 tsp salt

Directions:

1.  Pre-heat oven to 350F.2.  In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt.  Mix well.3.  Add buttermilk, mayonnaise, and mustard.  Mix well and set aside.4.  Cut 3 beef franks into thirds.  Pat dry franks with a paper towel.5.  Coat franks with remaing 1/8C of flour.  Shake off excess flour and set aside.6.  Line 9 cups of 12-cup muffin pan with paper cupcake baking cups.7.  Fill lined cups evenly with batter.  Place prepared franks in the middle of each lined-cup filled with batter.8.  Fill un-lined cups with water.9.  Bake at 350F for 20 minutes.10.  Transfer the baked goods to a cooling rack.11.  Once the goods are cooled, cut each good in half and poke with toothpick horizontally.  12.  Transfer to plate and serve with your condiment of choice.
