What could be better than a warm tortilla, filled with crunchy veggies, and yummy steak. And for this dish - we won't tell if you eat with your hands.
Ingredients:
4 oz FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
1 lb Flank Steak
1 Garlic clove, sliced
2 Onions, sliced
2 Pablano or bell peppers, sliced
1.25 cup vegetable oil
8 6 inch flour tortillas
1 tsp your favorite hot sauce, optional
Directions:
Place flank steak, worcestershire sauce, 2 tbsp of oil, garlic, 1/2 cup of the sliced onion, and ground pepper into a zip lock bag. Seal the bag, squeeze the air out, and move the contents around so as to mix the ingredients. Place in fridge, marinate for 20-30 minutes.
Heat a large skillet over medium high heat, put the rest of the oil into the hot skillet. Saute the green peppers, remove them to a bowl. Saute the reserved onions, remove and set them aside into a bowl.
Remove flank steak from the marinade, and grill it over high heat, about three minutes per side for medium rare. At the same time, heat the tortillas in the now empty skillet. Reheat vegetables if needed.
To serve, slice the meat into thin strips, cutting against the grain. Place 1 or 2 pieces into a warm tortilla, top with a few vegetables, and roll the tortillas tightly.
The flank steak can be marinated overnight.
Try garnishing these with salsa, cheese, or sour cream.
