Easy Double-Onion Quiche

My quiche is one of my husband's "comfort foods."

SERVINGS 4
COOK TIME 30 min
PREP TIME 20 min

Ingredients:

1 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions Products

1 tbsp FRENCH'S® Dijon Mustard

1 unbaked 9

3 eggs

12 oz whole milk

4 oz grated Jack cheese

2 tbsp oil

1 onion, thinly sliced

Directions:

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Saute the onion in the oil over medium heat until very soft. Beat together the eggs, milk, mustard & seasonings. Add the sauteed onion and the grated cheese and stir. Carefully pour mixture into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle top of quiche with the french fried onions. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until an inserted knife comes out clean. (May need to cover edges of the pie crust with foil after 15-20 minutes to prevent over-browning.) Wait 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
Serve quiche with a simple green salad and crusty French bread.
