Crowd pleaser everytime! (Makes the "cook" smile BIG time)!!! : )
2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Honey Dijon Mustard
2 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
4 Large Sweet White Onions
1/4 cup Bread Crumbs
2 tsp Italian Seasoning herbs
4 freshly crushed garlic cloves
1/4 tsp salt
/4 tsp pepper
Slice sweet white onions into approx. 1/8 to 1/4" (your personal preference) slices.
Dip in mixture of egg, worcestershire sauce and mustard mix.
Roll in mixture of crunched fried onions, bread crumbs, herb seasonings and crushed garlic.
Bake on slightly greased baking sheet@ 425' (turning often) for approx. 10 minutes or until golden brown.
*OPTIONAL - Sprinkle 1/4 Cup shredded cheddar, colby or parmessian cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes uncovered or until bubbly. **OPTIONAL - Sprinkle hot oven-baked onions with 1/8 tsp. each of paprika and dried parsley. Serve immediately while hot!
