The combination of sweet, savory, and spicy is a great way to start your day at breakfast or brunch. These also make great appetizers.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Dijon Mustard
1/2 cup butter
6 tbsp light brown sugar
1/8 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1 pkg crescent roll dough
24 smoked beef sausages
Directions:
Heat oven to 400 deg.F. Melt butter, and stir in French's dijon mustard, brown sugar, ground cayenne pepper, dried cranberries, and almonds. Set aside. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles on a piece of waxed paper. With scissors, cut each triangle lengthwise into 3 pieces. Starting with flat end, wrap each piece of dough around a smoked sausage link. Line a 13x9x2 pan with nonstick aluminum foil, or regular foil sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Put wrapped sausages in pan, and spoon topping evenly on top. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
