Dijon Apple Jack Pizza

Kids of all ages love pizza. This pizza is sweet and savory as well as cheesy and crunchy all at once. Not to mention, easy!

COOK TIME 20 min
PREP TIME 10 min

Ingredients:

2 tbsp FRENCH'S® Dijon Mustard

16 oz premade pizza dough

1 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp apple butter

7 oz smoked chicken apple sausage links

2 green onions, sliced

1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper

2 cup shredded Monterey Jack Cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. If you have a pizza stone, place it in the cold oven first. Roll the pizza dough out on to a clean work surface until it is a 14” circle. Transfer dough to the heated pizza stone or a large cookie sheet. Brush entire surface of crust with oil. In a small bowl, mix together the mustard and the apple butter until blended and spread that over the crust, sparing the outer ¾” of crust. Slice the sausage into ¼” slices and spread evenly over mustard sauce. Sprinkle onions and peppers evenly over sausage. Then sprinkle with the cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 17 minutes, or until pizza crust is browned and cheese is bubbly.
Can also be prepared with a store bought pre baked pizza crust. Just top the same way and bake according to package instructions.
