This recipe adds a little crunch to your favorite comfort food, an ooey-gooey grilled cheese!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions Products
4 Bakery-Style Sourdough Bread slices
2 American cheese slices
2 Pepper Jack Cheese slices
2 tbsp Spreadable Butter
Directions:
Preheat a non-stick skillet to medium heat. Crush the French's French Fried Onions in a plastic bag and spread out onto a plate. Spread the butter on one side of each slice of bread; then press each buttered side into the crushed onions. Lay 2 slices of the bread in skillet, buttered-side down. Place one slice of American cheese and one slice of pepper jack cheese on each slice. Top sandwiches with the remaining two slice of bread, buttered-side up. Brown each side, turning frequently, until cheese is melted. Cut each sandwich in triangles. Makes 2 sanwiches.
