This has become a favorite family dish at holidays - a change from traditional potatoes!
Ingredients:
15 oz FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions
2 lb frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
8 oz carton sour cream
10 oz can of cream of chicken soup
8 oz margarine (melted)
16 oz cheddar cheese, grated
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 baking dish. Combine hash browns, sour cream, soup, margarine and one-half of the cheddar cheese in a mixing bowl. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Pour in baking dish and sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese over top. Crush the French's French Fried Onions and cover top of casserole. Bake approximately 50 minutes.
