Classic with Crunch, Steak and Cheese Sandwich

A classic with crunch. Steak, garlic, cheese and onions, Yes, Yes, Yes, and Yes.

Ingredients:

2/3 cup FRENCH'S® French Fried Onions

2 tbsp lightly salted butter

1 tsp pressed garlic

4 small sub rolls split

12 oz paper thin frozen sandwich steaks, torn in pieces

10 oz jar roasted or fried sliced peppers

4 tbsp mayonnaise

8 oz Jar cheese dip topping, melted

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

Directions:

In large non-stick skillet, melt butter with half of garlic over medium heat, use to baste cut sides of rolls. In same skillet, cook steak according to package directions, in two batches, remove and drain, wipe skillet. Heat drained peppers in same skillet, stir in remaining garlic, salt and pepper, remove from heat, return steak to pan. Preheat broiler and toast rolls on large baking sheet, remove fill spread with mayo, fill with steak, top with cheese and onions. Serves 4.
Feel Free to swap out the melted cheese topping for sliced provolone, to garnish I love to skewer a few French's onions on a fancy toothpick to hold the sandwich in place.
